Halesowen college ‘ Diversity Day ‘ event. Kerry and Omar delivered a basic Deaf awareness session and gave the students an insight into their lives as Deaf people. A couple of the topics they discussed were statistics of Deafness and communication tactics. At the end the students took part in a quiz on the Deaf community and culture and a lip-reading skills brain teaser. It was a successful presentation that received great feedback from the
