Active Life= Healthy Mind Challenge
Tandem Challenge!
In August 2020, we all enjoyed watching the enthusiastic and determined tandem riders. Ishtiaq Hussain, who is profoundly Deaf, and Daniel Cripps, who is Deaf Usher, cycled from Stourbridge to Wales. They rode across the Welsh coastline and then back to Stourbridge. Altogether, they completed 868 miles!
Ishtiaq Hussain, the main rider, never gave up and cycled all the way! Which is a remarkable achievement. He would not have been able to complete it without all the fabulous riders, who gave up their time to support Ishtiaq’s “Active Life= Healthy Mind” challenge, to raise funds for Deafscope Link CIC.
During the challenge, we were overwhelmed with the fantastic support from the audience, who were inspired by Ishtiaq’s daily vlogs. Which brought the Deaf Community together and made them feel involved during the journey. It was really something special to see!
The donations are not over, please continue to support and donate for a good cause. Which is to continue to support and provide services to the Deaf and usher community.
