Training Courses at Deafscope Link CIC​
Deafscope Link CIC offers a variety of training courses designed to promote understanding, communication, and inclusion within the Deaf community.

Basic British Sign Language (BSL) Sessions

BSL sessions cater to all learning preferences and schedules:

Single Session:

A 2-hour introductory session that covers the basics of BSL.

Full-Day Course:

An immersive day-long course for a deeper dive into the language.

6-Week Course:

One session per week for six weeks, ideal for those wanting to build a strong foundation in BSL over time.

Deaf Awareness Course​

This course provides an overview of the Deaf community, its diversity, and the challenges Deaf individuals face. Alongside learning some basic BSL, participants gain an understanding of deaf culture and the daily experiences of Deaf people.

Both courses are engaging and interactive, featuring fun tasks to ensure a positive learning environment. They are delivered by Deaf trainers who offer firsthand insights into Deaf life, creating an authentic and enriching educational experience.
