Ish’s VV World put on a spectacular performance at the Southbank Theatre in London on the 17th December. Ish performed his coronavirus piece called ‘Unlocked’. Poetry-clown Talia Randall has created and will be hosting an exciting event! This event showcases local and national artists in a variety of performances such as drag, rap, experimental sound, punk poems, political satire, British Sign Language poetry and a more traditional spoken word line-up. This event will feature drag humour from Ginger Johnson, stunning poetry from Rachel Long, beatbox spoken word from Jasmine Gardosi, Visual Vernacular from Ishtiaq Hussain and British Sign Language poetry

Ish’s VV World and Deafscope Link collaborated on this project. VV artist, Ishtiaq Hussain, delivered a VV workshop at the Celtic Deaf Festival. He also performed in the evening. The audience loved the performance so much that they wanted an encore!!! Ishtiaq performed an additional piece for the audience.
