On the 28th of april 2022 the Queen signed of on the British sign language bill, finally recognising BSL as a language. After over 19 years of protests and difficulties the Deaf community finally ave recieved what its been asking for. Congratulations to you all. During the second reading of the BSL act bill Suzanne Webb MP for Stourbridge mentioned the hard works and importance of Deafscope. We were thrilled to see this, we hope you are too check out the video below.

On the 18th of March the Deafscope team travelled to Trafalgar Square to await the announcement regarding the third reading of the BSL Act bill, that was going through parliament. It was a fantastic day beautiful weather and an incredible atmosphere, take a look at this fantastic day below.
