Basic Deaf Awareness Day. Kerry and Omar delivered a basic Deaf awareness session and gave members of Creative Black Country, Multistory, Bearwood Community Hub, and Black Country Touring, an insight into their lives as Deaf people.
The session consisted of statistics and facts, basic Deaf Awareness and basic British Sign Language.
At the end of the session, participants took part in various activities such as the lip-reading brain teaser. It was a successful session that received great feedback from the participants, who expressed an interest in learning more!
